Bill Jones, 65, of Ottawa, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa with Rev. Duane Kaufman, officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date. A visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday before the service.
Bill was born on November 17, 1957 in Ottawa to Don and Marion (Baxter) Stohr. He worked as a warehouse factory worker. Bill married Lisa Jacobson on July 1, 2005 in Ottawa. He was a member of many pool leagues and loved the outdoors and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Jones, of Ottawa; his three children, Robert Voiles, Bill Jones, both of Ottawa, Bridget (Allen) Randall, of Florida; two step-daughters, Amanda (Matt) Lambert, April (Ryan) McNanna, both of Leland; four grandchildren, Kyrie, Erin, Andrew, A.J.; two step-grandchildren, Matthew, Dereck; two siblings, Terri Jones, of Florida, and Julie (Duane) Haige, of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marion Jones; a son, David Jones; two brothers, Scott and Terry Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
Bill has been laid to rest in the Garden of the Ten Commandments at Oakwood Memorial Park.
