Oakwood Memorial Park has been owned and operated by the Brooke family since its creation in 1935.  Starting with my Great-Grandfather Arthur Brooke and proceeding to Lorin and Marilyn, then Rich and Jim, and now my family, with my wife Michelle and our children Adam, Alex , and Alyssa.

The Brooke name has been a leader in the cemetery industry for four generations.  We are actively involved with the Illinois Cemetery and Funeral Home Association (ICFHA), the Alliance of Illinois Cemeterians (AIC), the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA), and the Illinois Funeral Directors Association (IFDA)  keeping up with the cemetery laws and practices affecting our industry.

As required by Illinois law I am a licensed cemetery manager.  I am also a licensed funeral director/embalmer.  Adam has joined us as well making him the fifth generation of family integrity and professionalism that you have found at Oakwood Memorial Park.  We are a family much like yours.  We will continue to operate Oakwood with the same caring, respectful, and helpfulness you have received over the generations.

Our family would like to thank the many familes that have entrusted us with the final resting place of your loved ones generation after generation.  We take this responsibility with the utmost respect and we will continue helping you through your time of needs, from the purchase of a location to easing your many choices in personalized memorialization.
