Mary Ruth Griglione, 87, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 26, at 11:00 am at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date.
Mary was born March 5, 1935, in Trenton, PA, to Joseph and Ruth (Kipp) Pickett. She married Richard Griglione in Canton, OH. He passed away January 17, 1990.
Ruth loved being surrounded by the huge family she created, smoking her cigarettes, fishing, boating on the Kentucky lake, and always had to have her cookie by her side. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to all of her children and many grandchildren. Ruth is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her, but is finally at rest with her love, Richard and her beloved sons.
In lieu of a celebration of life, please keep Ruth in your heart, remember her wherever you are, and celebrate the long life she lived with your loved ones on Christmas Day.
She is survived by her son, Morris (Julie) Lovell; her daughter, Judy Kostman; twelve grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sons, Danny and Mike Lovell; and her brother and sister-in-law, Joe (Helen) Pickett.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Mary has been laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion at Oakwood Memorial Park.
