Lucille M. Roth, 85, of Ottawa passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, March 18 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1 pm, prior to services, at the funeral home. Due to COVID guidelines, masks and social distancing will be mandatory. She will be buried at Oakwood Memorial Park.

Lucy was born November 19, 1935 in Ottawa to William and Marguerite (Charlier) Fribbs. She married Donald Roth on April 19, 1958 in Ottawa; they were married for 60 years before his passing on June 25, 2018.

Lucy always had a smile. She was kind, loving, and generous. She had a great love of all animals, especially her dachshunds. She enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the deer and wildlife. She loved to crochet and was always making something for her family and friends. Everyone who knew her loved her. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Erickson; her sister, Dolores Rossiter; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Alberta Killelea; brother, Earl Fribbs; and her son-in-law, Randy Erickson.

Pallbearers will be Ervin Fullerton, Tom Killelea, Patrick Gray, and Kevin Fribbs. Honorary pallbearers will be Patty Gray and Rita Fullerton.

She was laid to rest in the Garden of Psalms.
