Linda Wilson, 84, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at her home.
Funeral Services will be at 11 am, Thursday, November 14 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Bladen officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Thursday, prior to services, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
Linda was born November 9, 1935, in Ottawa to Walter and Ida (Cox) Robinson. She married Donald Wilson on October 6, 1960; he passed away November 9, 2004. Linda was a past president and lifelong member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre, gambling, crossword puzzles, and going out for dinner.
She is survived by two grandsons, Houston (Amanda) Davis of Ottawa and Dayne Davis of Arkansas; two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Trent; her son-in-law, Scott (Amy) Davis of Ottawa; and her niece, Marti Tunget of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Joy Davis; one grandson, Andrew Davis; and her brothers, Walter, Harold, and Dempsey Robinson and Jerry and Maynard Smith; and her sisters, Joan Stinekraus and Betty Manning.
Linda was laid to rest in The Garden of the Last Supper.
