Marlene Ann Skinner, 80, of Earlville passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born April 25, 1937 in Waterman, IL, the daughter of Ernest and Uvana Casey Hill. She married Harold T. Skinner on December 29, 1954 in Sycamore, IL. Marlene was a beautician in Earlville for many years. She was also a realtor for Hoenig-Bell. Marlene was an expert conversationalist, liked to play cards and games and she loved visiting with her family friends and neighbors over a cup of coffee. Harold and Marlene spent 8 wonderful years traveling all over the US in their motor home.

She is survived by her mother, Uvana Hill of Sandwich, IL; two sons, Dave Lynn Skinner of Sycamore, IL and Darren Misty Skinner of Earlville, IL; three grandchildren, Doug Erin, Ashley, and Zach; three great grandchildren, Olivia, Maddox, and Avery; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Hill, her husband of 52 years, Harold Skinner, and one son, Douglas Skinner.

A private Memorial Service will be held in Marlene’s honor immediately following the visitation. Visitation will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville. Marlene was laid to rest at Oakwood Memorial Park in the Shrine of Rest, Sanctuary of Seasons.
