Phyllis (Boyd) Myer, 87, of Ottawa, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 26, 2019 at Heritage Woods in Ottawa.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019 in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Oakwood Memorial Park. Burial will follow. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Arrangements are through the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Phyllis was born on July 27, 1931 in Streator, to William H. and Lydia (Walling) Boyd, Sr. She married Everett Myer on November 16, 1958 in Grand Ridge.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Mike) McDonald, of Ottawa, 3 grandchildren, Mike (Stacy) McDonald, Kristin McDonald, and Michelle (Wayne) Johnson, and 2 great grandchildren, Mikayla McDonald, and Reed Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Everett, on February 28, 2014, and her 2 brothers, William and Wallace Boyd.
Memorials may be directed to the Wallace Fire Department.
Phyllis has been laid to rest in the Garden of Prayer.
