Judith A. “Judy” Rohe, Oakwood Memorial Park, Ottawa IL

Judith A. “Judy” Rohe, 67, formerly of Ottawa, passed away on October 16, 2016 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa with Rev. David E. Daniel, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Ottawa and Rev. Eric Kennaugh, Pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Batavia, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Judy was born on May 1, 1949, in Ottawa, to William and Martha (Rippey) Rohe. She attended Ottawa grade schools and graduated from Ottawa Township High School, class of 1967. She was a secretary and a seamstress all of her life. Judy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Batavia and former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ottawa. She Enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, quilting, knitting, and also had a great love for baking.

Judy was an avid golf fan, baseball fan, and a football fanatic, following her Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Chicago Bears. Go boys Go!!!

Judy is survived by her children Bryan (Kelly) Joslin, of Doylestown, PA and David (Cris) Joslin, of Eagle River, AK, 4 brothers, James (Linda) Rohe, of Bethalto, IL, David (Susan) Rohe, of Springfield, IL, Richard (Annie) Rohe, of Trenton, IL, and Kent (Glenda) Rohe, of Sheridan, her grandchildren, Ashley Nicole, Riley Cordelia, Taylor Marie, Aaron Christopher, and Nicholas David, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Martha Ann and a niece in infancy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson’s Association or the American Alzheimer’s Association.

Judith has been laid to rest in the Garden of the Ten Commandments.
