Timothy Carrier, 52, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Morris Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 7, 2019 at St. Patrick Church with Fr. Bruno Bymuhangi officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 PM with prayers at 3:45 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.

Tim was born December 13, 1966, in Ottawa, Illinois to Jerry and Linda (Westman) Carrier. He married Lisa Galletti on July 3, 1999 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa. He worked as a painter for Local 33 of Chicago and Joliet.

Tim was full of love and laughter. He adored his wife and children and was an amazing husband and father. He had a wonderful role model in his step father, Willard Savage, who raised him from childhood. He was passionate about food and cooking, he loved to feed everyone and everything he made was delicious. He loved to fish and often spent time doing this with his children and friends in Wisconsin. He was an avid Cubs fan and attended games every year.

If you knew Tim, you knew his faith was very strong. He believed in the Lord and wasn’t afraid to go be with him. He will be forever in our hearts, forever loved, and forever missed.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; his three children: Elaina, Tag, and Jax Carrier; his mother, Linda Carrier-Savage; his brother, Jerry (Kim) Carrier of Utica; his step mother, Rita Carrier of Missouri; his half siblings, Cindy Fick and Alan Carrier of Missouri; his father and mother-in-law, Dave and Cathy Galletti; his brothers-in-law, Scott (Laura) Whiting and Mike (Renae) Galletti; his sister-in-law, Gina Jordan; many nieces and nephews; and many aunts and uncles.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Carrier; and his step father Willard Savage.

Pallbearers will be Norm Roth, Tim Osbourne, Bob Williamson, Joe Granados, Rob Stohr, Scott Whiting, and Dan Meagher.

Memorials may be made to the family for an education fund for his children.

Tim has been laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Devotion.
