Scott W. Forsyth, 59, of LaSalle, died on Saturday morning, May 5, 2018 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home and Crematory in Ottawa. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park.
Scott was born on July 12, 1958 in Ottawa to Robert and Patricia (Kennedy) Forsyth. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School, class of 1976. Scott was a supervisor at Potash Corp. where he had worked for 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and fishing. Scott was also a car enthusiast and he loved his dog, Darby.
He is survived by a brother, Robin (Rene) Forsyth, of Ottawa, a sister Dawn (Mark) Parisot, of Marseilles, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sherry Lee in infancy.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Parisot, Ryan Forsyth, Ron Forsyth, Steve Harden, Billy Walters, and Mark Cummings II.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated later.
Scott has been laid to rest in the Garden of Psalms.
