Mary L. Myre, 98, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Stavanger Lutheran Church with Rev. Philip Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date. Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with his cremation rites.
Mary was born March 20, 1920 in Marseilles, Illinois to James and Mary (Jurgenson) Morton. She married Arthur Myre. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
She is survived by her children, Art (Ellen) Myre and Robert (Marilyn) Myre; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Solinski.
She is preceded in death by Father, James Morton, Mother, Mary Jurgenson, Husband, Arthur Myre, Sr..
Memorials may be directed to OSF St. Elizabeth Hospice or Stavanger Lutheran Church.
Mary has been laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Memory.
