Lois Yasm, 87, of Ottawa passed away March 21, 2018 at Ottawa Pavillion.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Church. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11:00 – 1:00 Wednesday, two hours prior to services, at Ottawa Funeral Home.
Lois was born February 24, 1931, Broughton, Illinois, to Floyd and Hazel (Tyler) Coffey. She married James Yasm on April 18, 1953 at St. Patrick Church in Ottawa; he passed away July 20, 2016. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and a charter member of Shoreline Boat Club.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Yasm Sr. of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Jessica Morrall, Brittany Bibbins and Curtis Yasm Jr.; three great grandchildren, Zachary, Briella, and Mira; one sister, Grace Caulder; and one brother Floyd Coffey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her loving daughter, Paula Jane Yasm-Bibbins; and her dear aunt, Dora.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Lois has been laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Hope.
