Miss Ammie Ledora Phillips, 39, departed her life on February 6, 2018, at Bolivar General Hospital Bolivar, TN. A visitation will be held at T-HOP Ministries (7890 US-51 in Southaven, MS ) on Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.  Inurnment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park, Ottawa IL at a later date.

Ammie Ledora Phillips was born on September 20, 1978, in Chicago, IL, to the late Odessa and Alice Phillips. Ammie accepted Christ at an early age and later joined Trintiy House of Prayer (T-HOP) Ministries in Southaven, MS, under the leadership of Donnie R. Tillman, Sr. Ammie loved her family, especially her children. She made everyone around her feel welcome. She had many God-given talents. The two she will most be remembered for are cooking and hairdressing. She was always a dedicated worker and she obtained her high school diploma from IVCC in Peru, IL. She later went to Cosmetology school in Memphis, TN. She loved working with people and her talents and personality would shine bright as she gave her all.

Ammie leaves in memories three children a son, Tyrell Phillips of Southaven; two daughters, Cadessa Phillips of Peoria, IL, and Jabria Anderson of Ottawa, IL; two brothers, Terrance McKinnie of Streator, IL, and Odyessey Phillips of Peru, IL; four sisters, Alterida Phillips of Streator, Chantel (Nicole) Phillips of Ottawa, Aretha (Keith) Merritte of Streator, and Tiaira Phillips of Ottawa; grandfather, Aurther McKinnie of Memphis, TN; a close friend, Jason Anderson for 9 years and his children, Malachi, Destiny, Jayden Anderson; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

She has preceded in death by her parents, Odessa and Alice Phillips; sister, Dorothy Black; grandparents, Amy Mckinnie Houston (Jack) Phillips and Ledora Washington Phillips.

Ammie has been laid to rest in the Garden of Hymns.
