Aurora M. Jenkins, age 87, of Ottawa, passed away Monday morning, January 22, 2018 at Aperion Care in Marseilles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Columba Church with Father Corey Krengiel officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:45 p.m.
Aurora was born May 4, 1930 in Laredo, TX, the daughter of James and Petra Galvan. She married John G. Jenkins in 1975 in Morris, IL. He survives. Aurora was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Angelina Galvan.
Aurora was a member of St. Columba Church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
Aurora has been laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Love.
