William E. Cupples, 72, of La Salle, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Oakwood Memorial Park with the American Legion Veterans Group Honor Guard in attendance. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites.
William was born Nov. 16, 1944, in Ottawa, to William and Frances (Conkle) Cupples. He married Irene Green on July 4, 1998, in Las Vegas.
He was a member of the United States Army from 1968 to 1970.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; four sons, Jason, William (Natasha), Chris and Bill Cupples; one daughter, Toni (Scott) Bower; grandchildren; one brother and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Trisha; and one sister.
Memorials may be directed to his wife, Irene.
William has been laid to rest in the Garden of Hymns.
