Max D. Boswell, 47, of Ottawa passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, February 8 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Driscoll officiating. Visitation will be from 9 – 11 am, prior to the services, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
Max was born August 23, 1969 in Ottawa to Max and Connie (Arroyo) Boswell. He married Jennifer Wright on May 15, 2004 at the Ottawa Wedding Chapel. Max loved fishing and was always smiling.
He is survived by his parents and his wife; son, Tyler Boswell; step-children, Casey Wright, and Shaily and Jonathan Omauk; one grandson; two granddaughters, Keely and Jenna Shaughnessy; four brothers, Jason, Trini, Brian, and Aaron Boswell; a half-sister, Erica Mucci; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one son, Max.
Pallbearers will be Austin Boswell, Little Jason Gaughn, Andy Mucci, John Noonen, Arlie Rice, Jeff Arroyo, Joey Rosencrantz, and Christian Boswell. Honorary pallbearers will be Evan, Landon, and Dylan Boswell.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Max has been laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion.
