Linda was born August 2, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Benjamin F. and Leda L. (Smith) Bruce.  She married Charles L. Wolven February 9, 1962 in Tinley Park.  Surviving are her husband, Charles of Ottawa; and children, Brian Wolven of Columbia, MD and Sherry Raymaekers and husband, Bruno, of Waterloo, Belgium.  Linda also leaves grandchildren, Rachel Wolven of Baltimore, MD, Jennifer (Gabriel) Rykaczewski and husband, Sam, of Virginia Beach, VA, Joshua Gabriel (Katie) of Alpharetta, GA, and Alexandra, Amaury, and Delphine Raymaekers of Waterloo, Belgium; and brothers, Dan F. Bruce and wife, Linda, of Jackson, TN and Ben K. Bruce and wife, Debbie, of Somerville, TN.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ottawa where she was a member of the Church Choir as well as a Sunday school teacher.  Linda’s hobbies included gardening, especially flower gardening.  Another special interest of hers was decorating her home for the various seasons.  Linda was devoted to her family and cherished her time spent with her family, children, and grandchildren.  Although Linda had a passion for flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.

Linda has been laid to rest in the Garden of the Last Supper.
