Dolores Bell (nee Schomas), 81, formerly of Rolling Meadows, died Feb. 7, 2015. Born Aug. 26, 1933, in Ottawa, IL.
She was an active member of St. Colette Church.
She was the wife of the late Jene; mother of Jene (Kathy), Jeff (Lisa) and the late Thomas (Cathy); grandmother of Andrew, Brett, Chelsey, Emily and Bryan Bell; great-grandmother of Abbey, Nicholas, Braxton and Lillian; sister of Cecelia Crilser, Norma Brenburger, Rose Johnson and Annetta Wilde.
Visitation Saturday, 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road (½ block east of Route 53), Rolling Meadows. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Memorial Park, Ottawa Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association , 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631.
Dolores is laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Seasons.
