Phyllis I. Muffler, 89, of rural Seneca, passed away Sunday December 14, 2014 at home with her family and Vitas Hospice.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18 at seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa.

She was born March 31, 1925 in Frome, England to William Frank and Ada Lydia (Jelly) Beale. In 1945, she married Teddy Lee Orsburn of Wisconsin who preceded her in death in 1982. Then in 1987 she married Fred “Fritz” Muffler of Serena who preceded her in death in 2010.

Phyllis was a strong-willed, determined, hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She would do anything to make someone laugh. She was employed as a dietician at Rivershores Nursing Home for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by two daughters, Janet (Mike) Kozlowski and Mary and George Adams; three sons, Adrian (Marcia) Orsburn, LeRoy (Connie) Orsburn, and Jeff (Tracy) Orsburn; thirteen grandchildren, Mark, Rodney, Jason, Justin “J.D.”, Tara, Amanda, Chris, Amy, and Rachael Orsburn, Debbie Nowak, Kyle Evans, and Kelsey and Lyndsey Adams; nine great-grandchildren, Patience, James, Matt, Taylor, Haley, Colin, Justin, Cody, and Oleeta; and one brother, Geoffrey Beale of England.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; one son, Billy Orsburn; one grandson, Brian Orsburn; four brothers; two sisters; and one daughter-in-law, Kaye.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Pallbearers will be Mark and Rodney Orsburn, George and Kelsey Adams, Mike Kozlowski, and Kyle Evans.
