Earl “Sarge” Kauzlarich, 84, of Ottawa, Illinois passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 Monday November 24, 2014 at the Ottawa Funeral Home with Pastor Peter Ward officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 on Sunday November 23, 2014 at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park with Military Services.
Earl was born December 10, 1929 in Streator, Illinois to Louis Francis and Dorothy Pauline (Westerbeck) Kauzlarich. He married Janice (Williams) Fennel on July 30, 1977 in Ottawa.
Earl served 20 years and retired from US Air Force as a master sergeant E-7, he then worked and retired from AT &T after 22 years as technician He was a member of Ottawa VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; two daughters, Pamela Bernardini, of Broomfield, Co and Judy (John) Franz, of Oswego, Il; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia (Fred) Kline; and one brother, Robert (Marilyn) Kauzlarich both of Streator.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son; Edward Louis Kauzlarich; and one daughter, Karen Jean Mettille.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to PVL Chapel or donors choice.
Earl is laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion.
