Norma (Lock) Willy, 87, of Ottawa, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. before the services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Private interment will take place at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Oakwood Memorial Park.

Norma was born on November 9, 1936 in Ottawa to Leonard and Louise (Haupt) Lock, Sr. She was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School class of 1954. Norma worked as a bookkeeper at Jordan Hardware. Norma married Don E. Willy on July 16, 1955 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa. She loved the outdoors, hummingbirds, bluebirds, her bird feeders, yard work, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls.

She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Eugene Willy of Marseilles, Bryan (Janet) Willy of Lilburn, GA; a granddaughter, Brandie Bryan of Long Point, IL; a great-grandson, Gavin Bryan of Ottawa; and a great-great-granddaughter, Leah Bryan of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard, Sr. and Louise Lock; her husband, Don E. Willy; two brothers, Vernon Lock and Leonard Lock, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Norma was laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in the Sanctuary of Love at Oakwood Memorial Park.
