Annie Eugena Clements, of Peru, formerly from Ottawa, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, she was 92.
Born in Liberty, Ky. on March 28,1932, she was the daughter of the late Claxton Pennington and Lena (Allen) Pennington and the widow of the late Harold Clements.
Survivors include two daughters, Teddy Maxine Brown and Kathryn Ritchie; two sisters, Brenda Goode and Iva Dean Helm; one brother, Vernon Pennington; grandchildren, Kendra Ritchie, Joshua Brown, Annie Clements, Jamie Clements, David Ritchie, and Andrew Ritchie; and one great granddaughter, Laney Wilkerson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Claxton and Lena Pennington; her husband, Harold Clements; children, Ines M. Clements, Betty Geraldine Clements, Donnie H. Clements, and Charles Wayne Clements; one granddaughter, Maria Ashley; sisters Elizabeth Pennington, Opal Clements, Kathryn Wethington, and Louvena Hamm; and brothers, Joe Pennington and W.C. Pennington.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the chapel at Oakwood Memorial Park. A funeral ceremony will follow at 12:00pm at the chapel.
Annie was laid to rest in the Garden of The Ten Commandments at Oakwood Memorial Park.
