Born May 6, 1951 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Harry and Betty Flesher, he married Ardythe Kay Lloyd on January 2, 1988 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottawa. She died December 27, 2019 in Marseilles. He also was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steven M. Flesher.
Surviving are his caregiver and friend, Amy Foster and family of Peoria; one brother, Gary (Mary) Flesher of, Muskegon Michigan; one sister, Cheryl Thompson of Suwanee, Georgia; four brothers-in-law, Wayne (Jane) Lloyd of Morris, Herbert (Myra) Lloyd of Bremen, Alabama, Bruce Lloyd and Robert (Mary) Lloyd, both of Vallejo, California and many nieces and nephews.
Allen loved hockey and was a goalie for many years. He also enjoyed going on camping trips with his wife.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa at a later date.
