Lana E. Hogan, 79, of Earlville passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, December 29 at Zion Lutheran Church in Ottawa, with Pastor David Daniel officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, Tuesday, December 28 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
Lana was born June 28, 1942, in Chicago to Gordon and Edna (Luzadder) Newman. She married David Hogan on August 7, 1973 in Wheaton, and together they have spent 48 wonderful years. Lana was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, David; three children, Angel (Dan) Tomas, Gordon Neumann, and Amy (Frank) Hernandez, all of Earlville; eight grandchildren, Jamie Tomas, Jessica (Nathan), Rachael (Kyle), Rebecca (Gary), Heather, Eric (Rachel), Jason (Cara), and Caitlin; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lana was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Matthew Neumann; and her sister, Adeline Mazur.
Pallbearers will be Gordon Neumann, Eric Neumann, Jason Kuhrt, Jim Hogan, Andy Kuhrt, and Daniel Tomas.
