OTTAWA – Annabelle Lee, age 83, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 22nd at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home with the Reverend Nathan Feig officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Nick and Nathan Dilley, Frankie LaGow, C.J. Lee, Jill Wehri, Mike and Mark Larson and Rich Bellotti.
Annabelle was born April 6, 1935 in Ottawa, Illinois, a daughter of Mike and Edith (Grady) Onofrey. She married Eugene Lee August 28, 1955 at the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Ottawa. She is survived by Eugene, her husband of 63 years; her children, Darcy Hunter Ribolzi of Oglesby, Becky (Charles “Budd”) Dilley, Jon (Melissa) Lee, Craig (Karri) Lee and Jack (Trina) Lee all of Ottawa. She also leaves grandchildren, Jill (James) Wehri, Nathan, Nick and Danielle Dilley, Frankie and Sarah LaGow, Brooke and Jacqueline Lee, Emily and Rachel Robinson, C.J., Olivia and Piper Lee; nine great-grandchildren; and her beloved pet, Bella. She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Michael and Benjamin Hunter; two brothers, Michael and Jack Onofrey; and a sister, Shirley Larson.
Annie was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo, cooking, flea markets, shopping, hosting various events and taking trips to Louisville, Kentucky. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. Annie was very generous and supported many charities. She dearly loved her family, and adored her grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as “NuNu.”

Annabelle has been laid to rest in the Garden of Prayer.
