Sharon Slovinski, 67, of Ottawa, died Wednesday night, July 25, at the Ottawa Pavilion. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, at St. Patrick Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Corey Krengiel, officiating. Interment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Mueller Funeral Home.
Sharon was born on June 13, 1951 in Ottawa to John J. and Dorothy (Cunningham) Slovinski. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Naplate, and now a member of St. Patrick Church in Ottawa. She attended School at the LaSalle County Easter Seal Center. She participated in all activities at the Ottawa Pavilion where she was the life of the party. She loved spending time with her family, and loved music especially Elvis Presley. She also loved her Pavilion family.
She is survived by a sister Karen (Larry) Christensen, of Ottawa, a nephew, Steve (Michelle) Christensen, of Chicago, and her great nieces, Isabella and Quinn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to: St. Patrick Church or the Activities Dept. at the Ottawa Pavilion.
Sharon has been laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Peace.
