Raymond R. Riewaldt, 71, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 am, Friday, July 27 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am, prior to services, at the funeral home. He will be buried at Oakwood Memorial Park.

Raymond was born October 23, 1946 in Erie, Pennsylvania and was raised by his mother, May, and his father, John Warmouth. He worked at Friendship House. He was an avid fisherman and loved Elvis, the Cubs, and the Bears. Raymond had a great sense of friendship and character, and he never met a stranger no matter where he was at.

He is survived by his two sisters, Gay Riewaldt and Trudy Stock both of Ottawa; four nephews, Derek Ellis, Grant Stock, Art Riewaldt, and Mark Crum; eight nieces, Kendra Cummings, Jennifer Wilkerson, Amy Stock, Michelle Goings, Julie Truesdale, Paula Aukland, Christina Peek and Tracy Brewer; sixteen great-nieces and nephews; and eight great-great-nieces and nephews; and his sister-in-law, Patricia Riewaldt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, May and John Warmouth; and his brother, Art Riewaldt.

Pallbearers will be Art Riewaldt, Dan Ellerbrock. Dan Kennedy, Grant Stock, Christina Peek, and Amy Stock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek Ellis and Mark Crum.

Ray has been laid to rest in the Garden of the Ten Commandments.
