Alice Marie Blue, 82, of Ottawa, formerly of Marseilles, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at LaSalle County Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Tuesday, May 22 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Elder Larry Knutson of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa.

She was born October 27, 1935 in Tiskilwa, IL to Samuel and Hazel (Moore) Tucker.  On January 30, 1955, she married Robert Blue of Marseilles who preceded her in death in 2010.

Alice was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Ottawa. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Doughty of Ottawa; three sons, Robert (Pam) of Seneca, Randy (Terry), and Chris (Melanie), both of Marseilles; ten grandchildren, Justin (Katie) Blue, Jennifer (Chad) Harmon, Jay (Jessica) Kuehlem, Leah Kuehlem, Kaeden Blue, Kyle Metke, Bryar, Kaitlynn, and Harper Blue, and Cody Swartz; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and three brothers, Sammie, Stanley, and Wayne Tucker.

Alice has been laid to rest in the Garden of Inspiration.
