Doris A. Corrie, 82, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Ottawa Pavilion.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 pm Saturday, August 6, 2016 at St. Columba Church with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 – 11:30, two hours prior to services, Saturday at Ottawa Funeral Home. She will be buried at Oakwood Memorial Park.

Doris was born January 18, 1934, in Lostant, Illinois to William Shawbach and Elizabeth (Holman) Shawbach Busch. She married Harry C. Corrie  on Sept. 4, 1954 in Leonore, Illinois; he passed away December 28, 2000.

She worked at Westclox, BWD, and as a caregiver for many people in the Ottawa area. She was a member of St. Columba Church, Altar and Rosary Society, and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Lester) Landreth of Texico, IL. and Glenn (Chris) Corrie of Ottawa; six grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Landreth, Mark (Stephnie) Landreth, Kim (Jason) Coffman, Karen (Kyle) Williams, Brian (Chantel) Corrie, and Michelle (Jay) Sarver;  twelve great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Lila Peters; and her step-brother, Kenneth Busch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry; one brother, Walter Shawbach; her step-father, Bernard Busch Sr.; two step-brothers, Bernard Busch Jr. and Ronald Busch; and three step-sisters; Lucina Franklin, Pernetta Franklin, and Rosemary Meinders.

Pallbearers will be Brian Corrie, Mark Landreth, Jay Sarver, Brennen Sarver, Matt McAlpine, and Keith McAlpine.

Doris has been laid to rest in the Garden of the Last Supper.
