Glen B. Ator, 95, of LaSalle, died at 5:55 am March 6,2015 in Liberty Village Retirement Center in Princeton.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday in the Hurst Funeral Home in LaSalle with Rev Paul Carlson officiating.  Burial will be in the Mausoleum at Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa.  Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of services.
Mr. Ator was born in Pike County, near Pittsfield on July 22,1919 to Lowell and Grace (Clark) Ator.  He married Josephine Urichko on January 6,1945. They just celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary.    Glen drove a semi for 39 years before retiring in July of 1984.  He served in the US Army during WWII.
Mr. Ator is survived by his wife Josephine; three sons, Terry(Linda)Ator of Franklin Grove, Ron(Carmen)Ator of Aurora,CO., and Jack(Carlene)Ator of LaSalle; four daughters, Janice  Anderson of Jacksonville,FL., Tina(J.P.)Larson of Orland Park,KS., Betty  Stash of Streator and Patti(Gary)Van Buren of Goshen,IN; one sister Bona Dean “Peggy” Davis of Streator, Twenty-three grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Lyndle,Larry,Don and John  and one son Robert Ator.
Pallbearers will be Eric and Kyle Larson, Carl and Eddie Ator, Ryan and Robert Ator.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Glen is laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Peace.
