Ronald Weaver, 66, of Ottawa died Tuesday morning, November 18,at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m.on Friday, November 21, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa, with the Rev. Ralph Deming, officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the services on Friday. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.

Ronald was born on Dec. 10, 1947, in Ottawa, to Lawrence E. and Dorothy M. (Spence) Weaver. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School, and was employed at Friendship Village. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church the Lions Club, Ottawa Jaycees, American Legion, and a life-long supporter of O.T.H.S. Sports, and received numerous awards from the Booster Club. He was a former member of the Ottawa Rescue Squad.

He is survived by two brothers, Dennis and Bruce Weaver, both of Ottawa, two nephews, Matthew (Julie) Weaver, and Andrew Weaver, and great-nieces and nephew, Rhiannon, Sheyanne, and Matthew Weaver, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be directed to Friendship Village.

Ron is laid to rest in the Garden of Prayer.
