Jordan Harris, 29, of Ottawa died on Thursday, August 2.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8 at St. Patrick’s  Church in Ottawa with Monsignor Philip Halfacre, officiating.  Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the services.  Arrangements are through the Mueller Funeral Home. Jordan was born on September 22, 1988 in Ottawa to Robert Harris and Carol Cavanaugh.  He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School, and a member of St. Patrick
Church. He is survived by his mother Carol Cavanaugh, of Ottawa, his father Robert Harris, a sister, Katie (Jason) Bartee of Orlando, FL, his maternal grandmother, Delores Cavanaugh, of Ottawa, and aunts: Terry Cavanaugh and Tracey Mergener, both of Galesburg, Susan (Jack Goodman) Cavanaugh, of Ottawa, Lu (Tim) Aussem, of Ottawa, Jane Hannigan, of Ottawa, Marian Tison, of Harrisburg, IL, and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Murray Cavanaugh, and his paternal grandparents, Glen and Hazel Harris. Memorials may be directed to the family for charities to be determine.

Jordan has been laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Hope, Oakwood memorial Park in Ottawa.
