Cora Lewis-Kelly, 76, of Ottawa passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Garner officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, prior to services, Thursday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
Cora was born January 17, 1941 in Ottawa, Illinois to Russell and Edna (Daggett) Ham. She married John Lewis Sr June 15, 1957 in Ottawa, Illinois; he passed away April 1, 1971. She upholstered furniture for many years, worked for the power plant for 15 years, and retired from the Handy Foods Deli in October 2014. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three children, Candy (Mark) Christmann of Streator, Beverly Flatness of Ottawa, and John James Lewis II of Streator; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ray Ham and Jerry Ham.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, John Lewis Jr,; and eight siblings.

Cora has been laid to rest in the Garden of Prayer.
