Angel Denton, 51, of Ottawa, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa with Rev. Satya Sudhakar, Pastor of Epworth United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home
Angel was born on July 15, 1973 in Springfield to William and Ann Denton. She worked as a Radiation Therapist for 25 years. For years, Angel dedicated her life to caring for others as she has stood beside those battling cancer, offering not just treatment, but hope, comfort, and support. Angel enjoyed scrapbooking, arts and crafts, and health and wellness.
She is survived by her mother, Ann Denton, of Ottawa; two children, Kellcey and Griffin DeMoss; a brother, Ryan (Debby) Denton; an uncle, Gary Trenkle; best friends, Krista Meier, Erin Stehl; former husband, Jim DeMoss; and her beloved black lab, Roxy
She was preceded in death by her father, William Denton; grandparents, Lela Ellsworth, Wayne Trenkle, Stella Howard, and Stanley Denton; uncles Stanley Denton and Stephen (Adele) Trenkle.

Angel will be laid to rest in the Garden of The Last Supper at Oakwood Memorial Park.
