Donna Jeane (Carstens) Lindenmuth, 84, of Ottawa, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Marseilles.
Private services will be are being planned for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Donna was born on August 17, 1940 in Ottawa to Albert and Olive (Draper) Carstens. She was a graduate of Ottawa Township Highschool class of 1958. Donna worked as a seamstress at Dan Jac’s in Marseilles and then on the production line at G.E. Plastics for 20 years. Donna was a master seamstress at Dan Jac’s. She crocheted, sewed, designed clothing, and other products for musicians, hunters, golfers, and was a truly talented crafts person. She loved cooking, crafting, and driving her muscle car “Hemily”. Donna had a great sense of humor, always laughing and joking and loved taking care of her family and friends, and was a lover of animals.
She was survived by her three children, Judith (Dwayne) Howard, Jeanne (Joe Ott) Lindenmuth, John (Leslie Veith) Lindenmuth, all of Marseilles; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother Larry (Vivian) Carstens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Olive; and a sister, Phyllis Eastwold.
Memorials may be directed to the Pet Project in Marseilles.
Donna was laid to rest in the Garden of Prayer at Oakwood Memorial Park.
