Tracy Ann Conner, 55, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00am on Friday, January 31, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park.
Tracy was born January 16, 1970, in Ottawa, IL, to Loren “Butch” and Theresa Conner.
She attended Ottawa High School and graduated Class of 1988. She previously was employed at Farm & Fleet and OfficeMax and was currently working as the manager of The Shoe Department. Her family and friends were the most important thing in her life. She would drop whatever she was doing to help others and always had a smile for all that she came across.
She is survived by her son, Mike (Josh Winters) Gatsby; her brother, Jim Conner; her sisters, Amy Conner and Sara Conner; her daughter in law, Chelsea Schollmeier; her nephew, Cory Conner; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Butch and Theresa; her daughter, Kaitlyn “KC” Condron; her brother, Thomas Conner; her sister, Laurie Conner; her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Marie Connors; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Laura Conner; and several aunts.
Pallbearers will be Mike Gatsby, Josh Winters, Cory Conner, Ed French, Rocco Paris, Evan Paris, and Justin Allen.
Tracy was laid to rest in the Garden of Psalms at Oakwood Memorial Park.
