Donna (Rossetto) Sarver, Oakwood Memorial Park, Ottawa, IL

Donna Jean Sarver, 83, of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the LaSalle County Nursing Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa, with Rev Sherry Stevenson, Pastor of Crossbridge Community Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be form 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.

Donna was born on November 9, 1940 in Ottawa, to John and Rose (Bernardoni) Rossetto. She was a graduate of Marseilles High School, class of 1958. Donna married Carter “Gene” Sarver on November 23, 1963 at St. Joseph Church in Marseilles. Donna was a former member of the Ottawa Boat Club, the Elk’s Club, the Illinois Valley Racquet Club, and several bridge clubs. She spent her free time bowling, playing bridge, and playing tennis. One of her bridge clubs met monthly for over 50 years. Donna enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. She also loved watching and supporting her daughters and grandkids in all their activities. You would always find her in the stands or on the sidelines cheering them on.

She is survived by daughters Michele (Peter) Lindemann of Ottawa and Megan (James) Schott of Peoria; five grandchildren, Zachary Lindemann of Chicago IL, Tyler Lindemann of West Lafayette, IN, Alec (Alexandra) Lindemann of Brooklyn, WI, and Carter and Harper Schott at home in Peoria IL; and one great grandson, Beau Lindemann of Brooklyn, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Pallbearers will be Pete, Zachary, Tyler, and Alec Lindemann, Jim Schott, and nephews Doug and Jeff Gleim.

Donna was laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion, Oakwood Memorial Park, Ottawa, IL.
