Emogene F. Hauge, 77, of Marseilles, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Ottawa Pavilion.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday May 4 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Clark of the Marseilles church of the Nazarene officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest at Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa.
Emogene was born on December 11, 1946 to Barney and Emma (Munson) Hall.
She was employed as a CNA for over 30 years in the Joliet area until her retirement. She loved playing Bingo, Yahtzee, card games, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Emogene is survived by her children, Bob (Chris) Hauge of Marseilles, Starlette (Paul) Hauge-Sherman of Missouri, and Richard Hauge of Rushville; thirteen grandchildren, Robbie, David, Alyssa, Melissa, Katie, Daniel, Tiffani, Brittani, Mariah, Angelica, Emily, Lola, and Dax; 14 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Caroline, Jessie, Dave, and Johnny; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, JJ, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Emogene will be laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in the Sanctuary of Peace at Oakwood Memorial Park.
