Sharon L. Bruck, age 78, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 24th at Crossbridge Community Church with Pastor Sherry Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from Noon to service time Friday. Pallbearers will be Scott, Nicholas, August and Briar Bruck, Melissa Kovach and Aubrey Bruck. Honorary pallbearers will be Victoria, Veronica and Ava Bruck, Archie Boe and Chuck Porter. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Sharon was born November 4, 1944 at Miami Beach, Florida, a daughter of William V. and Harriet (Armstrong) Judy. She married the “love of her life” Ron K. Bruck December 3, 1961 in Ottawa. Sharon is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ron; their children, Jeff Bruck of Plano, IL, Brian (Katrina) Bruck of Ottawa, Randy (Chris Ward) Bruck of Marseilles and Ron (Katherine) Bruck of Yorkville. She also leaves grandchildren, Melissa (Kevin) Kovach, Scott, Victoria, Nicholas, Veronica, August, Aubrey, Briar and Ava Bruck; her step-mother, Irma Judy of LaMoille; and sisters, Nancy (Don Brown) Miles of Naples, FL and Patti Stillwell of Peru; as well as many nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Judy and a sister, Linda Linn.

Sharon was a faithful member of Crossbridge Community Church. She had worked as a hairdresser at This Is It salon in Ottawa for many years. Sharon and Ron looked forward to spending their summers together in Minnesota fishing and playing cards with their many friends. She enjoyed bowling and participating in a ladies card club. Sharon’s most treasured time was that spent with her loving family and many friends.

Sharon has been laid to rest in the Garden of the Last Supper at Oakwood Memorial Park.
