Patricia Ann VanDuzer, 61, of Ottawa, formerly of Streator, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at her home in Ottawa surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Solon-Telford Funeral Home in Streator.

Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Thursday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:30 A.M.

Born November 25, 1960 in Streator she was the daughter of William Hogan and Lucille (Miklos) Hogan. She married Mark VanDuzer on October 12, 1985.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; sons Brandon (Erica) VanDuzer of Ottawa, Collin VanDuzer of Streator; a brother, Scott (Lea) Hogan of Texas; brothers-in-law, Myles (Joyce) VanDuzer Jr. of Bradley, David (Linn) VanDuzer of Ottawa; Charles “Chas” LaVersa of Maine; grandchildren, Nora, Myles, and Weston VanDuzer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille Hogan; a brother, Eugene, in infancy; mother-in-law, Carol Jean (Dulian) VanDuzer; father-in-law, Myles VanDuzer Sr.; sister-in-law, Sandra (LaVersa) VanDuzer and nephew, Drake VanDuzer.

Born and raised in Streator, she attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated in the Class of 1978 from Streator High School. She worked at Illinois Fruit & Produce in Streator and finished her career at Exelon/Com Ed where she retired after 35 years in 2017.

Patty loved vacationing with her husband, especially to their second home in Las Vegas, where she enjoyed playing video poker and bingo. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family and close friends. She was an extremely proud “Mimi” to her three grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 36 years, Mark, her family and her friends.

She was laid to rest in the Garden of the Last Supper.
