Ruth was an avid gardener traveling many miles to find the right plant for her beautiful flower beds. She loved watching sports following her Bulls, Ottawa and Marquette teams, but most of all watching her family in all sports and activities. She and Barney could often be found at a ball field in the area, many times with no family playing, just to catch a good game and enjoy a bag of popcorn. Her spirit and thoughtfulness will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Barney, 2 sons Jay (Alicia) Sesto, of Ottawa and Rick (Tami) Sesto, of LaSalle, 3 grandchildren, Jill Lemrise, of Phoenix, AZ, Brian (Brooke) Sesto, of Marseilles, and Cory (Kristen) Sesto, of Ottawa, 2 great grandchildren, Kylie and Addison Sesto, a sister Elaine (Donald) Farmer, of Ottawa, and a brother Robert (Delores) Barnett, of Utica.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be directed to the family for charities to be determined.

Ruth has been laid to rest in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Seasons.
