Imogene Arwood, 84, of Evans, Ga., originally from Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016.
Her memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park with her husband.
She was born November 7, 1931, in Essex, Missouri to Nellie (McKinney) Davis and Edgar Davis. Imogene was raised by her stepfather, Theodore Wilson, of Dayton. She worked at Community Hospital of Ottawa for many years in the dietary department. Her passions were reading, word searches, embroidery, her children and grandchildren. She loved country music, babies and a good laugh.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Dan) Kotowski of Ottawa, Jeanette Ainsley of Evans, GA., Nancy Caldwell of Stanley, N.C., Joan (John) Carroll of Ottawa, James (Debbie) Arwood of Ottawa, and Keith (Darsi) Arwood of Utica; sixteen grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Patricia Munari of Marseilles, Vernon Wilson of Ladd, Deryl Wilson, Bob Wilson, and Terry Wilson all of Ottawa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, both of her parents; brothers, Eugene Davis, Donald Davis, and Ronnie Wilson; and her great-granddaughters, Erica Amundson and Chloe Arwood.
Imogene has been laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion.
